Looks like I’ve successfully transferred the theme over. At some point I’ll look over the (few) blog posts I have in the original blog this theme came from and decide whether to import them.
There’s still a bug; IE users get transparent text on the right, just below the calendar. The links there are active, and what they allow you to do is move through previous entries. I’m setting this at low priority because you can still navigate the blog via the calendar and archive list. Besides, you guys should be using Firefox, anyway; this blog is bug-free in that browser. Speaking of the archive list, I don’t see an option within the admin panel on this blog program to allow me to limit that to the last five months or what have you. I’m wondering if it will end up stretching out a list of months as they pass. It’s not bad now, but may end up looking ugly after a while. I suck completely at PHP/CSS, so the chances of me figuring out either of these on my own is pretty slim. If anyone has any suggestions, e-mail address is at the top.
I’m still struggling with spambots flooding the comments. I have comments set up so that they will be flagged for moderation if the name you use has been previously approved. This might open up the floodgates, but we’ll see for now. If spam starts pouring out, I’m going to have to turn on registration and get you guys to comment that way. I hope you don’t mind.
Anyways, I hope you like the new layout. Hopefully this means I’ll blog more, too. We’ll see.
