Quote found from a 1998 review: “Since technology has evolved faster than good ideas, it’s easier than ever to be jaded about computer games.”
I have a question for anyone reading, based on a scenario.
Let’s say, somehow, by some freak accident, you are sent back in time to the late 1990’s, and you were able to bring some sort of proof with you, such as a newspaper, an iPod, etc. With common knowledge held by most Americans, you could easily prevent the 9/11 hijackings that led to the murder of thousands. Would you do what you could to do so?
Now, if you have the immediate reaction of “yes, why not?” I would like you to think on this scenario for at least a few minutes, considering current world events and the concept of altered timelines. I’m curious as to what some of you may have to say, as I can envision multiple schools of thought on the topic.
